Students Grievance Redressal Mechanism

The Students Grievance Redressal Mechanism of Jagjiwan College, Ara has been constituted to address the genuine grievances of students in a fair and transparent manner.

The Cell aims to maintain a healthy academic atmosphere by promoting mutual respect and harmonious relationships among students, teachers, and the administration.

Students may submit grievances personally, in writing, through the Complaint/Suggestion Box placed near the Principal Office, through the official e-mail of the College, or through the online grievance form available on the College website.

Objectives

To encourage students to express grievances freely.
To promote cordial relationships among students and teachers.
To ensure discipline and mutual respect.
To address grievances fairly and impartially.
To prohibit ragging and harassment.
To promote student welfare and well-being.

Scope

Academic and administrative issues.
Student welfare and support services.
Institutional facilities and campus environment.
Student discipline and well-being.
Any other genuine grievance affecting students.

Functions

The Cell shall receive and examine grievances.
Appropriate action shall be taken as per University rules.
The Cell shall maintain records of grievances.
The Cell shall ensure impartial resolution of complaints.

Anti-Ragging Provision

Important Notice

Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited within the College campus. Any incident of ragging or harassment should be immediately reported to the Principal or the Students Grievance Redressal Cell.
